leave the Hostel yesterday. The Dean of Student Affairs, Prof. Ofoefule Sabinus of the Nsukka Campus was seen in the Hostel making sure that the directive was carried out.
Students were seen moving their
property to nearby places for safety.

In another development, we gathered from reliable sources that bunks will be introduced in the Male Hostels in the 2017/2018 session. This is a departure from what it used to be where Male Students used to spread their mattresses on the floor.
Most of the students we spoke with
were of the opinion that it is a welcome development as it will help to breed
neatness in the rooms and also reduce squatting.
