Head coach of the Super Eagles, Gernot Rohr, has
released the list of players invited for the upcoming matches against
Algeria
and Argentina.
Nigeria will take on Algeria in their final 2018
World Cup qualifier on November 10 in Algiers, having already booked their
place in next year’s tournament.
Four days later, they will play Argentina in a
hugh-profile international friendly in Russia.
On-loan Manchester City midfielder Chidiebere
Nwakali and Deportivo La Coruna goalkeeper Francis Odinaka Uzoho are called up
for the first time.
However, on-loan Chelsea defender, Kenneth
Omeruo, was placed on standby.
