President Muhammadu Buhari presided
over the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting on
Wednesday, October 18, at
the State house in Abuja. The president will after the meeting depart for
Turkey on an official visit and to attend the D-8. Bashir Ahmad, a presidential
aide disclosed this on his twitter handle.
Meanwhile, Olisa Agbakoba, a former
president of the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA), sued the federal government
over the ministerial position of President Muhammadu Buhari.
The suit at the Federal High Court,
Abuja seek an interpretation of the constitutional qualification of the
president to simultaneously hold executive office as minister of petroleum
