Meghan Markle's family drama: Royal Family reacts

Following the numerous attacks on Meghan Markle and her new found status, the Royal Family has finally reacted and it appears they are in
support of their new found daughter-in-law.

Ever since former American actress Meghan Markle went public on her relationship with Prince Harry, there was mixed reactions about the relationship which eventually led to marriage. While some people were happy for her, Meghan's family however had nothing nice to say. Following the very elaborate wedding of the Meghan - now Duchess of Sussex and Prince Harry, her estranged family has been granting numerous interviews about her. However, an insider says the Queen has been supportive of the new Duchess of Sussex. Speaking to US Weekly, the insider said: "Meghan is absolutely broken by the drama with her father. There’s no way she can have a relationship with him or even reach out to him to stop him from speaking. She knows he’ll record the conversation and sell it. She has high anxiety wondering if this will go on forever."

A Buckingham Palace insider also said: "What may surprise some is just how supportive Her Majesty has been during the problems Meghan has faced with her family. Meghan is in a tough place, and the queen knows it’s completely out of Meghan’s hands. She has only sympathy for what’s been a difficult and distressing situation for her."

Despite the two women coming from very two different backgrounds, the 92-year-old monarch has great admiration for Meghan Markle, according to the insider. The queen became fond of Meghan at their first meeting. Not just because she’s the charming woman who brought happiness into her grandson’s life, but also because she quickly demonstrated that she’s intelligent, polite and keen to learn.
